Got myself some business cards this week. This is most for testing and a used a simple template in Pages. I choose the one I think had best design, the funny thing is that it is named "San Francisco template" 

This is the first "movie" I made with my new EOS 7d, used the lens Canon 17 - 40mm f/4.0 

The CC is done in Magic Bullet Looks and the edit in FCP.

After seeing Transformers: Revenge of the fallen two times I think there is no doubts that this movie will be the ultimate summer hit.

The plot is simple: Bad robots vs. Good Robots battling on earth the classic Michael Bay movie, big explosions and incredible CGI. ILM did an amazing job with the animation of Optimus and the crew. Because it’s not the dialogs that make this movie a hit, it’s the fighting scenes. You are sitting in the action almost watching it from Sam’s eyes.

There is no point to for me to tell you about individual scenes, you need to check it out yourself!

One more thing, the soundtrack is sick!

However if you are thinking “I don’t like movies like this” well pull that aside because Megan Fox is in it!

I’m only thinking about two things now:

- See it again

- Buying the double-disc DVD  (blueray?)

This is a VFX reel by MK12 for the new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. MK12s work is absolutely mind blowing and a great inspiration for all motion designers out there.

Some days ago I found a great site for VFX breakdown videos. I have looked all over the Internet for a site like this one. Breakdown videos are a great source to find out how to do your own shots.

Some of the fun things about breakdown videos is that you see things you never thought was added in postproduction. Like in the Da Vinci Code, I thought that most of the shots was real, but figured out that many of the shots used 3d, of course some of the 3d shots are easy to spot, but they hide it pretty well.

Hello

Now that the site is up things are starting to look good. We have discovered some bugs that we are in the process of fixing.

1. The blog will be up & running in about a week.
2. There will be more than 3 videos at display in the portfolio section, we just need to setup the back and forward arrows.
3. The color changing of the text after clicking the read more button in the blog will also be a fixed

This is a short documentary about peoples habits on the subway. Made for a school project. The outcome is not that good, and the use of MBL was done in a hurry. From scratch to final in about 2 weeks. Shot on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II
